Nepal’s largest telecommunication company Nepal Telecom (NTC) has hosted the repositories for Linux based OS Ubuntu on its local server. NTC currently hosts the YouTube cache server in Nepal, resulting faster streaming on NTC ADSL subscribers and other ISP. Since the repository for Ubuntu is also hosted by NTC, updates, Ubuntu software and the Operating system can be downloaded faster than before.
